Booking Procedure

As a Medical Coordination company we coordinated and book everything that is required for you to have surgery in Bangkok or Phuket. We have done all the ground work for you sourcing the best Surgeons and ensuring that the hospitals used are certified as ISO and or JCI This Accreditation is only given to hospitals that have conformed within the International Standards required to facilitate international patients. The care and safety of our clients and their families the most important thing to our company and we would not jeopardize your safety or our reputation in sending client to disreputable hospitals or clinics.
As a full service company we like to make the whole procedure as personal and simple as possible. Our services Include:
• Booking all your Surgeon or dental appointments
• Airfares, Hotels and Transfers
• Tours and sight seeing
• Travel Insurance

Please note that your surgeries Price are GST free and inclusive of the following:
• Private Hospital Fees, Anaesthetist, Theatre and Surgery, Pathology, X-ray fees
• 1 night in a single, private room at the hospital (more is required for a particular surgery)
• All inclusive treatments e.g. Implants, bandages, dressings
• Pre and Post-surgery consultation/s by surgeon, as necessary

We do recommend that you plan and book ahead as far ahead as possible giving us at least 2-4 months in advance if not more! This will then give us the advantage to obtain your appointments at the time that you wish with the Doctor that you have chosen. This also allows us to source the cheapest airfares and hotel packages. Although bookings can be made with as little as 3 weeks’ notice you will often end up paying more for your airfares as the seats will be limited and the hotel options will also reduce.

OBTAIN AN INSTANT ESTIMATE ONLINE
The first step is to obtain an estimate of the cost of your surgery and Travel for your budgeting purposes and information this can be obtained by using our Online Estimate system. Estimates can be obtained in a number of currencies which you select when entering your detail
In this section you will input you details and a valid email address that we can send your estimate, Please ensure that your enter the correct email address you wish the estimate to be sent. Without a valid email address you will not be able to receive the instant estimate.
Within the estimate section you will be able to select your surgery or treatment; you also select your travel option so that you can have an awareness of the possible cost involved for your budgeting purpose only. Once you press the submit button it takes a few minute to process and formulate your estimate these prices are obtained from our online data base and is not manually prepared. This system is an automatic system and will not always include all the options for a particular surgery or service. You can request specific information through the comments section of this form and a consultant will then manually process the form and once that has occurred you will receive you estimate.
During this process please do not close your browser until you receive the Thank you message. You will then receive an email within 45 seconds with a PDF file attached outlining estimated cost on your surgery, Dental and procedures. This will allocate a unique Estimate Number that will be used throughout the booking process. If you do not receive this email within a few minute please first check that it has not been recognized as spam and put in another folder and that your email security can accept PDF files if this had not occurred then please contact us with your details and we will gladly assist you in obtaining the information and prices you were after. Please ensure that you can read PDF files a PDF reader can be downloaded from Adobe
You are not committed to the prices obtained from the estimate it is to be used as budgeting tool only. Exact cost on surgery and travel specific to your requirements will be provided at, your initial appointment after you have seen the surgeon. Travel cost will also be provided and invoiced separate by our Travel consultants after they have contacted you and planned your itinerary.
PLACING YOUR BOOKING
By placing your appointment booking request you are not committed to have the surgery as no money for surgery is taken from us, it is paid direct to the hospital after your initial consultation. When you are ready to proceed with your booking we request that you place your request for an appointment through our web site in the secured section “Appointment Booking” this can be found on the home page and in the side Menu under Appointments and Bookings”:
You will be asked to enter you Estimate number which can be found on the first PDF file that you were sent it will start with an E followed by numbers. If you cannot locate this please enter TBA to proceed.
This section will ask a series of questions related to your current medical condition that is required by the Hospital.

To commence travel you will need to hold a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining based on expiry date. If you are still yet to apply for one then please fill in your legal name as it will appear on your passport as your Passport name is used when making official travel and surgery bookings.

You will then be taken to a live Credit Card process system where you will enter your details for the $395 booking payment, this is to engage the services of Destiny Meditravel to prepare and coordinate everything for you. A receipt for this payment will be sent direct to your email address the subject line will read “Receipt of APPROVED purchase/payment @ EWAY”. The booking fee is for Meditravel service and is not part payment for Surgery, Dental or Travel Payments
Once we receive your information from your booking request with you preferred appointment dates we will then contact you and check the availability of flights for the day prior to your appointment date and then for return flights. The days required to be in Thailand for recovery are dependent on the chosen procedure, you obviously can stay longer if you wish. As a guideline we do recommend that you at least allow 10-12 days away for one procedure )procedure dependant) if you are having more than one procedure then the time required will increase, we will confirm these details with you at the time of booking. You will then work with you to select your accommodation options based on your preference and a final cost for Travel is provided based on your final selections.

Our consultants also work for our preferred licensed Travel agent so we have the ability to source the best fares and hotel options available on a worldwide basis, often having special packages that are exclusive to Destiny Medi-Travel clients. Your invoice for travel will be issued by MTA Travel,( Lic. TAG903) .Payment and deposit instructions at the time of confirmation will be provided. After initial deposits are paid you then have the option to pay off the travel component in instalments to MTA having final payment completed 45 days prior to departure date. It is not a requirement that Meditravel organise you Travel component although it is preferred.
At this time, once departure dates have been decided and Travel confirmed we will send through the request for your appointment within 2-3 days a confirmation will be received and a treatment plan for your procedure supplied. Dependant on the Surgery or treatment that you are undergoing the Doctors often request photos to give a preliminary assessment and recommendations. These can be emailed to your consultant unless you are having procedures directly related to the facial area you face is not required to be in the photos. You will be sent an email with an attachment with full instruction on how to take the photos and send to Meditravel
Four weeks prior (or on completion of travel payments) to your departure you will receive a client information pack this will include any travel documents that are needed, Travel and Medical itineraries and information and advice required prior to your departure and treatment.

Should you require finance for your surgery? We use and recommend Mac Credit, phone 1800 185 997. They are fast and efficient and approvals are given over the phone. Please mention that you are booking your cosmetic Procedure through Destiny Meditravel so that the process can be prioritized and expedited.
We understand that it is not always convenient to call inside normal retails hour. Our consults are available to take calls up until 9pm week days, if it is more convenient for you to call outside retail hours. Calls outside 9-6pm weekdays, you must make prior arrangement via phone or email direct with Meditravel or your consultant.
