Dr. Piyapas is a highly skilled and very experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He also holds a bachelor degree of Biochemistry. He is an active member of the International Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, The Royal College of Surgeons, The Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and The International Society of Hair Restoration, among others. 

Prior to working as a Plastic Reconstructive Consultant Surgeon in the Bangkok Phuket hospital, Dr. Piyapas worked as a plastic surgery consultant on complex major plastic reconstructive cases in the Queen Sirikit General Hospital, the Royal Thai Navy and Bangkok Hospital, Pattaya. 

His special interests include: 

• Facial cosmetic surgery, particularly Rhinoplasty (Caucasian and Oriental), Blepharoplasty, face and neck lift surgery and other facial rejuvenation procedures.  

• Body contouring procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, tummy tucks and liposuction.

• Reconstructive surgery including congenital defects, major soft tissue injuries and defects, burn injuries and facial maxillary trauma.

After comprehensive training with prominent hair transplant surgeons in the US, Dr. Piyapas also specializes in follicular unit hair transplantation, which he has found to be very beneficial in several applications besides male pattern baldness, particularly in facial and scalp reconstruction. He regularly attends international meetings and academic seminars around the world to keep abreast of the latest techniques and best treatments.

With a background in Biochemistry, and as a member of both the Society of Cosmetic Chemists of Thailand and the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC), he also develops specialized new cosmetic formulations used for unique skin care. 

Dr. Piyapas works as part of a team in multiple-procedures cases to reduce the operative time and risk to patients at several hospitals including the Bangkok Phuket Hospital, where his skills as an aesthetic plastic surgeon, his commitment to patient care and his ability to communicate effectively in English have been recognized by both local and international patients.

Dr. Pathom Sakolkitiwat, a krabi native, was graduated from Medical school of Prince of Songkla University.

He is the active member of Board of General Surgery of Thailand, and Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Thailand. 

His professional starts with General Surgery Resident at Pramongkutklao Hospital, Bangkok, and later he joined Plastic and reconstructive surgery at Thai-Army hospital until 2003.

At 2004, Dr. Pathom achieved Fellowship in Preecha Aesthetic Institute (PAI) at Bangkok Nursing Home Hospital (BNH) for a research presentation “Role of TCDO and Duoderm CGF to acute wound healing in rats”.

He is now the fulltime surgeon at Vachira Hospital, Phuket, and active Plastic Surgeon Consultant at Bangkok Hospital Phuket.

His specializations including liposuction and breast augmentation have been achieved international recognition from patients around the world
