2008 ESCORTED TOURS PHUKET OFFERED
In November 2007 we trialled the idea of running escorted Tours with a number of our clients. We received a very positive response from the clients that participated and have now confirmed that we will offer them to all our clients in 2008.
What is a escorted Tour?
An escorted tour is when members of our team accompany clients to phuket for their surgery. They are there to assist first hand with clients at the airports, stay at the same hotel as client to be available to answer any questions, make them selves available to attend the hospital or appointment if client wishes. Basically being a person that know the procedures, (some have had them) who to contact at the hospital, money conversion and best of all where to shop for the best bargains!
Who would best benefit from an escorted tour?
Anyone! although we do promote this to clients who are traveling on their own, first time travelers to thailand and any clients who just like the reassurance of knowing that an Australian is there with them if they need them and can assist them with any thing they may be unsure of
How many people can be on the Escorted Tour?
We are limited to the number of people on each tour to ensure that we have enough staff traveling and available to cover the clients needs. Each tour has spots for 25 patients this number does not include any persons that may be traveling with clients as they don't pay a registration fee
Is there a fee to attend one of the Tours?
With all clients we charge a registration fee of $365. As these are escorted tours the registration fee for participants is $720AUD (patients only NOT accompanying friends or family)
Are there certain dates that Escorted tours run?
Yes, the dates are pre-set and clients can travel at any time within them and be assured that a staff member will be with them. If clients require assistance at airport they will be restricted to the dates that staff members fly out (melbourne, brisbane and Sydney offered in 2008)

(dates after those to be advised based on interest)
Destinations offered
We will run the first tour in Phuket and based on peoples registration of interest will then look at Bangkok further into 2008 unless interest is so great will then schedule one to coincide with the April departures
Travel Packages
Clients participating in a Escorted Tours will have exclusive rates on their travel packages inclusive of Air , transfers and Hotel packages created for them based on their travel dates and requirements. All clients on an escorted Tour will stay with pre-negotiated rates at the Banthai Hotel which is a 4.5 star hotel central to all the shopping in Patong and fly with Thai airline (where available)
