Our Commitment and Guarantee

At Destiny Meditravel we stand by the service that we offer believing that we have a responsibility to our clients long after they have returned home. We provide our clients with the assurances that they are not putting themselves at unnecessary risk by traveling overseas for surgery and that the Doctors and Hospital are of an acceptable standard to westerners. We have researched thoroughly our doctors and hospitals and can confidently provide these assurances to our clients.
However, we do realise as will clients who research their procedures prior , risks will inherently be associated with any surgery - which we try to minimise by selecting the best hospitals and surgeons. If you are healthy without prior medical conditions and have realistic expectations, followed your doctors advice and recovery instructions then you should be pleased with your results.

If, in the case that a problem does arise as a direct result of the surgery that requires corrective surgery, Phuket Hospitals will cover the following:

  1. Determination

    If after determination, and taking into consideration the conditions and exclusions , they guarantee in the case of surgery, hospital treatment or admission error, that they will in pay in full or on an agreed costs shared basis with the client

    1. for all hospital, admission, surgical and other costs associated with the corrective surgery.
    2. in the case of Meditravel Agency referred clients only, for the return airfares from the nearest capital city or international airport in economy class and original booking code. Travel should be in the same season of travel (low season, low shoulder, shoulder, high shoulder, high season). Any additional airfare costs must be paid by the client.
    3. in the case of Meditravel Agency referred clients only, for hotel accommodation for the time required to be in Phuket for corrective surgery. The hotel will be selected by Hospital. Any additional hotel costs, including upgrades to a higher standard or class or hotel, including room upgrades must be paid by the client.

    Hospital or Meditravel will not be responsible for any expenses for the patient’s companion or family.

Please note the following conditions:

  • All post-operative advice by surgeons has been followed
  • Compression Garments worn the recommended time
  • No corrective procedures will be done within 6 months (to allow for normal complete recovery) and all procedures must be finalised within 1 year of the original surgery
  • No procedures are done on the area by another surgeon or areas that may effect concerned area
  • Orginal Travel flights and Accomodation booked through prefered supplier of MTA Travel
  • Not applicable to high risk surgical category, including but not refinded to:
  1. smokers
  2. patients outside a healthy BMI range
  3. diabetes
  4. blood pressure disorders
  5. keloid scarring problems
  6. vascular or heart problems
  7. medications which could interfere with recovery
  • All conditions were declared fully and truthfully on the original medical form
  • Not applicable for non-surgical procedures or dental only surgical
  • Not applicable to ‘inherent risks’ associated with surgery which are not a result of surgery error, including but not limited to: capsular contracture and skin rippling (in the case of breast implants), numbness and changes in sensation, asymmetry
  • Not applicable to changes associated with weight gain/loss or pregnancy since the surgery
  • Only applicable to patients who have stayed the recommended amount of nights recommended to recovery of the named procedure
  • Only applicable to patients who has surgery treatments in Phuket from the 1st April 2008
  • Any corrective surgery if needed can only be done from April to Nov of each year or, at additional cost to patient as agreed by Hospital
  • Travel cost should not exceed those orginally paid if so the differnce must be paid by patient
